Just a thought for a work-around for testing, in case you or anyone else is interested. Install Synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/), ZoneScreen (http://www.zoneos.com/zonescreen.htm), or another alternative. Even without another client connected, Windows will essentially have dual-screen.
