Xfree installation problem

Hi,
I'm trying to install some windowmanager like Xfce or Lesstif, but when I
start the compilation of the sources the system found some problem between
the libraries, I guess.

What can I do to install and launch these windowmanager?

Do I need to debug the source code or there are other solutions to do that?
