Just a side note: I don't know about Mac, but I'm using a USB stick with a NTFS partition on my Ubuntu 9 Linux system, and I've used Linux ext2 filesystems on Windows 2000 and XP for years with a free 3rd party driver. No problems in either case (but I must say I never need to worry about permissions, I'm the only user on that system). -- Reinier -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
