I've also run Sysinternals Process Monitor to see if I could spot any suspicious errors, but none showed up. And there's a hint in this one. Common causes for this kind of complaint are: 1. <http://cygwin.com/acronyms/#BLODA> 2. Problems with DLL load collisions.
