i am unfortunately not very familiar with how installations are done on *nix machines, even though i use one at home. however at my work we are using WinXP and Cygwin and i need to install http://srecord.sourceforge.net/windows.html Srecord . the problem that i have happens when i follow the instructions given on the website for cygwin1.dll independent installation. i get the following messages
