It would be REALLY helpful if we had as many programmers working on the project as we did people with helpful suggestions. I can envision a number of improvements to cygcheck but, alas, no one is available to work on it. This is not to denigrate your suggestion. It is a very useful suggestion. It makes sense. I hope that someone may be interested in taking a stab at extending cygcheck to make this happen. In that vein, can anyone think of other improvements to cygcheck? For instance, maybe it could debug common /etc/passwd or /etc/group problems.
