I've made a new version of 'grep' available for download. This updates the package to the latest version available from ftp.gnu.org.
Grep searches through textual input for lines which contain a match to a specified pattern and then prints the matching lines. GNU's grep utilities include grep, egrep, and fgrep. Grep is available in the "Base" category.
