Hi, Thanx for the references. I tried the forward slash, but that didnt help. After going thru the user's guide, i tried /dev/sde instead of //./PHYSICALDRIVE4 and it worked. From what i could undertand, the problem is with opening the file for write. Any clue on how to get thru this ?
