Hi, I shall look at how the other ghostscript distributions handle the Hershey fonts. SuSE fonts-config blacklists these fonts. Another quick check points to freetype2. http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/freetype-devel/2003-10/msg00035.html We have 2.1.5 in cygwin (Sep 2003), current freetype version is 2.1.9.
