I had cygwin running just fine on my laptop, but my simple startxwin.cmd (run from cmd.exe) script started failing. In stepping through it, I found that I was getting "child_copy: linked dll data write copy failed" error on xrdb, which appears to be when it runs cpp.
I upgraded to cygwin-1.5.19-2 in the hopes that this would fix it, but I'm still seeing the error there. The attached error output is from running it on 1.5.19-2. Everything else is current released versions as well. Any suggestions on how to debug this would be greatly appreciated!
