X-No-Archive: yes I recently upgraded to XP. Yeah. I know, I'm kind of behind the times.
Anyway, rxvt no longer works for me. I used to use a shortcut with the following properties to start it: D:\cygwin\bin\rxvt.exe -title "rxvt Terminal" -bg "#e0f0e0" -fg "#000040" -cr midnightblue -fn "Lucida Console-14" -geometry 80x43+0+0 -sl 4000 -sr -tn rxvt -backspacekey ^H -e /bin/login gary That now produces a "Password:" prompt. But the (Limited User) account I am running from simply doesn't have a password. Pressing return tells me "Login incorrect". Grr. So I changed the shortcut and removed the "-e ...", and I now get a "sh-3.1$" prompt at /usr/bin. Agh! (to coin a phrase) Anyone got any tips please? I guess this is something to do with user security, but that isn't something I ever had to bother with on 98 (since no such thing exists). _______________________________________________________ The FREE service that prevents junk email http://www.mailshell.com -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
