There was a real error in one ImageMagick's makefiles that changed the order of link flags.

That's why it was solved differently. Hint: We also had some discussion on cygwin-apps. See thread around <http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin-apps/2006-11/msg00016.html> but be also aware that Yakkov's patch was not enough, there was also a dependency missing in PerlMagick/Makefile.am and the *.cygport file had to be slightly amended. The current package builds without special (external) changes.
