...as I previously noted, '-us' is a reasonable combination of flags,
thus '-ul' is also reasonable. I did suggest that '-l' should /imply/
'-w' unless '-u' is used.

Well, currently it treats -us or -ul or plain -l or plain -s all as
errors and gives the usage message.
