According to Russ Dill on 8/27/2007 3:13 PM: > Are you currently working on getting a newer version of Git into > Cygwin, or are you currently lacking the time/inclination to perform > such updates? I track the git list for announcements on a regular basis. I am currently waiting for 1.5.3 to be released upstream prior to rolling my next cygwin release. I agree that 1.5.2.5 is newer than the current cygwin 1.5.2.2, but after all, some Linux distros are still on 1.4.x. git is still developing so rapidly that I have no plans to track every single release as it happens; rather, I make sure that the cygwin release is never more than a few months behind. - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
