Hi Corinna, Without knowing too much about the specifics of the issue, I will attempt guess that the missing functionality probably has to do with the replication of file descriptors passed through unix sockets. Is this your assessment as well? If this is the case, then would be expect that new functionality would have to be implemented specifically for replicating all the relevant fd structures across process boundaries? If these assumptions are correct, can you help point to the relevant codebase areas that need enhancement? I am probably jumping on the gun here since I am not a registered contributor for cygwin, but hey, I will gladly follow any due process to become one as needed!
