A new version of the atool package is available in the Cygwin distribution. atool is a script for managing file archives of various types (tar, tar+gzip, zip, bzip2, rar, 7zip, ...). It has separate commands for creating, unpacking, listing, repacking, and showing differences between archives of its supported formats. It overcomes the dreaded "multiple files in the top level directory" problem by automatically unpacking archives into an appropriately named subdirectory if necessary.
Changes in this release: * New upstream release: add support for pbzip2, rzip, lrzip, SX zip; some new options and bug fixes. * Fix too-specific invocation of /usr/bin/perl5.8.8 to /usr/bin/perl.
