Automake is a tool for automatically generating `Makefile.in' files compliant with the GNU Coding Standards. This is routine update in the automake-1.10 release series, and contains the latest version of automake system, automake-1.10.
This cygwin package, automake1.10, can be installed without conflict alongside the existing automake1.9, automake1.8, automake1.7, automake1.6, automake1.5, and automake1.4 cygwin packages. This release is a packaging update of the automake1.10 package. This will most likely be the final automake1.10 update for the cygwin-1.5 distribution; future development will continue with automake1.10-1.10.1-10 for cygwin-1.7. Changes (automake1.10-1.10.1-1 ---> automake1.10-1.10.1-2) * Update packaging to use stock cygport-0.4.0 * Import fixes from gentoo * Ensure distcheck passes when using libtool-2.2 and the LT_OUTPUT macro appears in configure.ac. * Ensure /usr/share/aclocal directory is preserved Testsuite results: ===================================== 3 of 590 tests failed (25 tests were not run) ===================================== FAIL: libtoo10.test ltlibsrc.test pr401b.test These tests require that they be run as root (Administrator), which I didn't initially. Rerunning under an Administrator account allows them to pass. -- Charles Wilson volunteer automake maintainer for cygwin ==================================================================== To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page.
