What's wrong with Windows EFS (encrypting file system)? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Encrypting_File_System Command-line, cipher /e on a fresh directory, or cipher /e /s:<dir> /a to encrypt existing tree in <dir>. Only available in >Home editions AFAIK though.
