Yep, the cygwin gcc source (as seen in gcc-2.95.2-2-src.tar.gz) and the
gcc source from gcc.gnu.org (checked out on 19991024) were different. I
think there is work going on now to push the cygwin-specific changes
from the cygwin-gcc into the official tree at gnu.org.
Mumit's departure last May left a huge void, and only recently have a
few folks stepped forward to partially fill his shoes. However, we
shouldn't criticize Mumit for leaving; only appreciate him for his
tremendous earlier contributions.
