The cygwin video driver for XFree86 4 server uses DirectX to display the X
screen(s). For more information hop over to
http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin/xfree. The errors below are indicating a problem with
the X-Server...
Also (as a different topic) there are DirectX like tools for X-11.
