Re the discussion of now getting an MTA to work under cygwin to go with mutt, there are two minimal MTAs listed on the mutt page, www.mutt.org. One, ssmtp, only sends mail to a mail hub, but is easy to build under cygwin. One of the files assumes hostname takes the flag -fqdn, but this is easy to change. In the install, it tests whether the user name is root, or not. The other, nullmailer, runs as a daemon, but uses named pipes, which cygwin doesn't support, apparently. However, if it is possible for cygwin to run Internet daemons like logind and ftpd, then it seems like it should be easy to get an MTA like nullmailer going to. But that's about where my ability to see what is needed to write an MTA for cgwin ends. -- Greg Matheson Chinmin College, Taiwan [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
