Thanks for sharing. If you want to look at the email archives, you'll find these basic issues of setup discussed ad-nauseam. Feel free to jump into the effort to build and test these features. I don't think anyone will really argue that these kinds of features are needed for setup, which is why work on setup has been going in that direction...
