Did you read /usr/doc/Cygwin/openssh-2.9.9p2.README? Or /usr/doc/Cygwin/inetutils-1.3.2.README? Or http://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/ntsec.html#NTSEC-SETUID? They all tell soemthing about NT/W2K user rights. Oh, btw. this all is valid also for XP, including Home Edition.
