This is most likely an attempt to escape the "VoA" name. VoA was forever tainted by their deep Iran-Contra involvement, and like all businesses caught red-handed, a name change can often be a key survival technique. My guess is VoA thought that their forced "lay-low" period could come to an end with Shrub [making an attempt at] running the POTUS show, and a name change would be the most expedient way to come out of dormancy. -- Yours, J.A.
