However the strike/bankruptcy things was definitely no hoax. They seem to have sorted them selves out for the time being, but it looked like they were bye bye for a while. The strike affected alot of travellers. I'm located in St. Maarten and there were huge queues for at least a week at the liat counter at the airport while they sorted themselves out.
