I find the constant appearance of HTML e-mail here to be surprising. HTML improves nothing and adds risk. Why not have the mailing list censored down to ASCII? Opponents are listening to be sure, but why give them injection points? Or does the libertarian ideal extend to dangerous encodings as a form of free speech?
