Yeah. It wasn't exactly his address. One digit off. But ...

Perhaps it was a test to see if either he or the recipient was under
observation. If the NSA was on to him, and tracking stuff from his
address, the package might have been intercepted, or the recipient
questioned. Or similarly if the NSA was watching the recipient, and saw
a package from B Manning.

But arguably, the NSA wouldn't be so dumb as to tip off the recipient.
They'd just monitor. Maybe the FBI would, however. Hard to say.

Or maybe it was just a dark joke.
