Even in promotional materials advertising MCSE certificate programs, Microsoft advises its outside sales force, a.k.a. certified technicians, that the more of an employer's money they spend with Microsoft, the more important they will become in their employer's organization and the more their own compensation package grows. Microsoft's failure by design security paradigm feeds this sales force work, and creates the illusion that they are warriors fighting "Evil Genius" hackers. The whole thing is nothing but a scam.
