I'm having trouble contining so writing down the formula:
Basically, treat your coping and other present experiences from the big social influence coverups around 2014 as analogies for the story content. Use things around you or on the list to provide material. The story is about controlling a secret businessman and government contractor who uses mind control for profit and reputation, as researchers, workers, and commonpeople who struggle and inevitably succeed to take down his business and free everyone, while participating in controlling the world for him in various ways as parts of his various shell corps and social influence plans. The "rebels" socialise at a cafe where people continuously and casually talk about things that Boss engages millions and billions of dollars and diverse classified technology to cover up. The story centers around the rebel cafe and the worst victims of Boss's experimental and influence work who are crux in turning the tide of his efforts and have positions and knowledge and skills that seems incredibly powerful but that they can't easily effect or use very well, but this is described as being solely psychological from Boss's abuse, and also a researcher with a serious role in world history (rebel researcher / boss's "dead" wife) and the hero is a middle manager (rebel worker 2, an implanted + mind controlled mind control rebel who succeeds), roles from my feeling shapes. Boss actually changes the story while it is written to mutate to his preferences, which gets it spewed all over a mailing list before the change is complete, which impacts the patterns tasked with preventing such things. Roughly Boss may have pressed for himself be an injured victim to gain the heart of readers, for others than him to come across as aggressive and harmful, for the story to spread a concept of conflict, rebellion, and oppression, and for no business secrets to be included. The results relate to human instincts people in an environment of powerful automated influence of the human experience, counter to the preferences of those involved. When adding things to the story one can start by simply making up a casual interaction given the background and then assume that as normal and move forward or get bigger, and/or relate something important, and possibly making a joke of covering up things that are so sharply new and different (and impactful). We prefer not to speak in cover-up nor ridicule (or even assumption-guesses, not that not doing that should imply not preserving and sharing anything) but suspect that attempting to be more normal and human will just give more story material for a while longer.
