EasyPay, an alternative finance company, has settled with Massachusetts
officials over claims that it gouged Bay State borrowers with predatory
loans issued through an out-of-state bank, agreeing to pay $625,000 to
consumers and stop doing business in the state as part of a deal unveiled
Wednesday.
