Me [re?]discovering dma substitute cards: if you have these and get good at using them, you might be the only consumers controlling your devices rather than being controlled by them.
I used to think of pciscreamer as something cool to buy if I made a lot of crypto. Now it sounds like the only lasso that might work on general modern devices to some day use them successfully. But I just learned about them. Quite embarrassed to not have had this. Quite old now. ... Before my mind control I had recently used firewire for dma for the first time, likely quipped about on list years ago maybe not. I made a FUSE driver and a live her editor to explore ram easily. Then I started "switching" whenever I engaged fuse or dma. For years I couldn't use FUSE for anything at all. Seems like DMA is building again. Curious what the hook is. I'm getting the 75t knockoff. ... My first websearch it showed a $40 or so product. Returning to the page it is now $80. So somebody's possibly taking $40 from me.
