In a three-week span, Hurricanes Charley, Frances and Ivan have taken a serious toll on many communities in Florida and the Caribbean.
What took these storms just hours to destroy, will take days, months and even years to rebuild.
But with your help, the victims will. Because there is no force more powerful than the human spirit. United Way of Miami-Dade and The Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald have activated Operation Helping Hands to help the victims of these hurricanes. Make a gift today to Operation Helping Hands and help the people of Florida and the Caribbean begin rebuilding their lives.
One hundred percent of all contributions to the response fund will go to help the people in the communities most severely impacted by the hurricanes, with no administrative costs being taken by United Way.
