-------- Original Message -------- Subject: ~/lib/map_stupidshared.c Date: Wed, 23 Jun 2010 13:37:19 -0500 From: Patrick Goetz <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Seriously? /* map_stupidshared.c -- memory-mapping routines working around DEC stupidity. Maybe it's time to tell those DEC users to upgrade to an i386 or something? You can get them at Goodwill for $20 or so....
Speaking of coding, no one ever responded to the lib/map_stupidshared.c
thing. Is this file really necessary in the modern code base? Is
anyone really still running DEC machines?? I ask because there's a
debian patch for it which I'll need to deal with if the answer is yes.
