I agree it's great to see the active development. Alas, I'm not actively a
developer (as a sysadmin I usually don't have the focus on one subsystem enough
to be coding on it), but I did have a question I'm passing on from one of my
users (who also happens to be an IETF AD and interacts with two different Cyrus
servers I run):
This is on the Sieve side, and the question is a two-parter:
Is anyone looking at some of the new or upcoming RFCs/IETF-drafts for
implementation?
Specifically, we see some utility in the proposed "External Lists" extension:

and wondered if it's even on a list of things to check out or try implementing?
[I can understand reticence until it's actually an RFC, but there's also the
RFC process pushing for prior implementation experience before moving a draft
to published.]
On the other hand, if no-one has looked at it yet, are there any concerns with
the draft as it is now that indicate it might need revising prior to even
considering implementing it?
My initial reads of it indicate some things like the address book feature would
necessarily make use of the last-resort option for responses since there is no
integrated address-book.
Other than that, is this on anyone's radar?
