Unfortunately, it is less common than json-c, and for which the
version 0.10 is now available in EPEL.

Should I change back the JSON library? there is still time before
releasing Cyrus 2.5

We have discussed this before, though perhaps not on the list; I have no trouble *not* having event notifications available with Cyrus IMAP 2.5 on Enterprise Linux 5, but;

- We should consider upgrading our CI system to Enterprise Linux 6,

- It is not very unlikely nobody will even attempt to build Cyrus IMAP 2.5 let alone ship off to production, based on Enterprise Linux 5...

So, it is really up to the rest of the list (especially those with the Solaris, -UX and other UNIX systems), for which, if I recall correctly, json-c and jansson are both equally unavailable and need to be built on/for these platforms regardless.

Kind regards,
