I know. I don't think I told you yet, but we have a running Hudson-CI instance for Cython that automatically builds it against all major Python versions after a push to cython-devel, and then runs the test suite over it in parallel. I just hadn't taken a look over there yet, and I had only run the obviously relevant tests on my side before the commit, not the entire test suite. But the test results were just a couple of mouse clicks away for me after your hint.
