Dear Czernowitzers and Bukoviners, Our list numbers well over 500 subscribers these days and we have a steady rate of about 1-3 new members joining per week. Your list owners (myself, Jerome Schatten, and Edgar Hauster) are making some significant changes behind the scenes, and we'd like to let you know what's happening and why. 1. The Subject line will now be automatically prepended with "[czernowitz-l]". Previously, we'd been inserting "[Cz-L]" manually. If you're sorting your mail with the "[Cz-L]" prepended on the subject line, you will have to change that. 2. We are making some changes behind the scenes to allow your formatted / html / mime posts to come through directly. We're not completely there yet, but should be quite soon. Hopefully, this eliminates extra work on our end, and gives you the freedom to express yourselves in your posts! 3. We are also starting to archive mail automatically to https://www.mail-archive.com . Find us here: https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/info.html and here: https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ This new archive will be linked to the archive listings on our Czernowitz.ehpes.com site. We’ll also attempt to move our 20+ years of archived posts to the mail-archive server. Work in progress . . . . There may be some “hiccups” along the way, but we believe most of you will find the changes to be seamless and smooth.
