Dear Ilana,

You are probably referring to the beautiful newspaper ads that appeared in
early 1892 for the opening of Café Engler:

Unfortunately, I can't tell you how it went on either, but it's remarkable to
learn that your grandfather advertised Cafe Engler with the following slogan:

"All the most read magazines in the world are available in my premises."

Have fun with it!

Edgar Hauster

Subject: [czernowitz-l] CAFE ENGLER

Looking for more information on Café Engler run by my grandfather Ignaz Engler
in 1891-1892. I have found several newspaper ads but was wondering why it only
lasted a year or so. The address of the café was Brunsteinsche Haus No. 18,
Rathausstrasse, Ecke der Kochanowskigasse.

Thanks,
Ilana Grallert
