Dear friends, Today is the Holocaust Memorial day in Israel, Mr.  Izhak Artzi Z"al (Izo Hertzig) born in Siret and educated in Czernowitz, received a Honor designation for his activities in rescuing thousands of Jewish children ,from Transnistria at 1944,  and transferring them to Bucharest and to Israel.
