Hi Bruce,Though my grandmother's monument in the Jewish cemetery of Galati
Romania existed, it was in a horrible shape and I reconstructed it by hiring a
local constructor who did the job in a few days. My grandmother died in

Dear Czernowitzers,
A friend of mine in Australia has located the gravesite for his mother at the
Czernowitz Jewish Cemetery. Unfortunately, she died during WWII, and no stone
was ever erected. He would like to have a monument put in place (within old
Parcel 20B / current Area 104). Has anyone on the list had success
constructing a new monument? Can anyone recommend a reliable way to accomplish
this?
Thank you,
Bruce
