My recommendation, to the German authorities, below a Google translation.
(Terrible translation, sorry)

Sehr geehrte Frau Pickard,

Arthur Rindner

Dear Mrs. Pickard,

As I have already heard from you in our personal phone calls, I consider Mr.
Christian Hermann to be a very committed and warm fellow man, whom I heard very
often on my travels in my political Chernivtsi. I was always aware of his
commitment and his knowledge of the region of my childhood and youth endeavors.
With a lot of empathy and a high level of artistic skill, he captured the
right cemeteries in Ukraine with his photography and thus made them a public
view of their own.

With his work at Peace Services Atonement has treated many young people and
made them aware of the Holocaust and the Jews of Bukovina. In doing so, he has
taken the access of Jews from Bukovina to a great service for which we are very
dear.

I commend myself to Christian Hermann and his services.

I would be happy if he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit.

  Best Regards

  Arthur Rindner
