Czernowitzers...

As I reported recently, the Romanian government's historical perception of the 
Holocaust has changed fundamentally in recent times. The parliamentary and 
extra-parliamentary events surrounding the commemorations of "80 Years Since 
the Pogrom in Iasi, Romania" provide an eloquent example of this:

All of this would have been completely unthinkable just a few years ago, and I 
am confident that the crimes committed against the Bukovina Jews will also come 
more into focus.
