Czernowitzers, or rather Radautzers...

It is our friend Yosef Yagur who points us to a most interesting posting by
Ruth Ellen Gruber, under the heading "Radauti Mayor plans to clean up the
Jewish cemetery and wants to integrate the cemetery and synagogue in local
heritage routes":

https://bit.ly/3pBiWZk

I have taken a closer look at the linked Facebook entries of Mayor Bogdan
Loghin and those of the Radauti City Hall and think that the announcements are
quite realistic. Whether this is due to the commemoration of the Jewish Radautz
or whether tourist ambitions are decisive, we can ultimately do not care if the
result is right. Let's wait with excitement whether the words will be followed
by deeds, but I am optimistic.

Warmest wishes to all of you!

Edgar Hauster
