Dear Edgar, Many thanks for the links, and especially the ones to the historic photos of the Hauptstrasse, one of which shows # 38 (a single storey building on a corner with a fountain outside), the birthplace of my grandfather Carl Josef PÄCHT, his brother and of a number of his brother in law Emanuel NOË’s children.
Not that it is likely to matter to you, but for the sake of any future readers who may take an interest in this exchange in perusing the archives, following Alex’s communication of the Open Street map I misspoke in stating that the former #38 Hauptstrasse does not correspond to present #13 Holovna — it corresponds to #15 Holovna AND to # 13 Holovna (i.e., the former # 38 is currently subdivided).
