Dari Abdulloh ibnu 'Amr rodhialloHu anhu berkata: "Sesungguhnya RosululloH SholalloHu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Waktu Dzuhur tiba apabila matahari telah tergelicir, sampai bayangan seseorang sama dengan panjang tubuhnya, selama belum masuk Ashar. Waktu Ashar terus berlangsung (semenjak bayangan seseorang sama dengan panjang tubuhnya) selama matahari belum menguning. Waktu Maghrib berlangsung selama syafaq (awan merah) belum hilang. Waktu Isya sampai pertengahan malam. Dan waktu sholat subuh dimulai semenjak terbit fajar (shodiq) selama matahari blm terbit."
