A. Huruf Mabany (Huruf Hijaiyah)
Huruf yang digunakan untuk menyusun suatu kata
Huruf mabany terbagi menjadi 2:
1. Huruf Illah
Ada 3 huruf yaitu: Ç æ í
2. Huruf Shohih
Seluruh huruf hijaiyah selain Ç æ í
B. Huruf Maany
Huruf-huruf yang mempunyai makna
Huruf maany terbagi menjagi beberapa macam, diantaranya:
1. Huruf Jer
Huruf yang membuat kata setelahnya secara umum berharokat akhir kasroh.
Diantara huruf-huruf jer adalah:
ãöäú , Åöáìó , Úóäú , Úóáìó , Ýöì , ÑõÈøó , Èö , ßó , áö
(ka : seperti, bi : dengan, rubba: begitu banyak/barangkali, fi : di, ala :
atas, an ; dari, ila: ke, min : dari, li : untuk)
2. Huruf Athof
Huruf yang digunakan untuk menghubungkan antara satu kata dengan kata yang lain.
Diantara huruf-huruf athof adalah:
æó , Ëõãøó , Ãóæú
(aw: atau, tsumma : kemudian, wa : dan)
