I do agree the message is harmless.  My only true concerns are why does it 
happen and this was one of the errors Uwe was reporting.?  It appears the 
update and delete statements should start a transaction.   Then you wrote:

So I kept digging and created a test case.  And in fact I see an update 
statement then a commit - which produces an error.  Then it occurred to me 
that something could be wrong with the framework.  Which is why I continue 
the discussion.  

Just tell me I'm barking up the wrong tree and I'll say OK.  This error 
message is not causing me any problems.
