Interesting. I just reverted my wxPython to 2.5.3 from 2.6.1.0 and
tried, but cannot repro. Here's my info:

UI Version: 2.5.3.2pre on wxGTK (gtk2) (unicode)
Python Version: 2.4.1 on linux2
I also reverted back to dabo revision 1205, with the same results. Let
me just confirm, you are running:
python IDE.py
and you are not seeing a form pop up, and no terminal output either.
When you click, you see a crosshair. Correct?
