Hello again, (I get dabo mail in a digest, and with the extra delay, messages can cross in the mail. I have not received a reply yet, but that may be because of the digest delay.)
Now I recall there was an error: dabo was not able to download setuptools from the python.org site. After some investigation, I discovered that the python web site had been reorganized; setuptools for python 2.4 is now here: http://cheeseshop.python.org/packages/2.4/s/setuptools/ I downloaded a new ez_setup.py from the python site, and overwrote the ez_setup.py that came with the dabo files. After that, installation seemed to go without error. Does that information help? Thanks, Rick --- Rick Graves <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello dabo, > > I installed dabo from the dabo-0.6.5-mac-nix.tar.gz > I > got off dabodev.com onto a laptop running Fedora 4. > I > had already installed wxPython for Fedora 4 from the > rpm that I got off the wxPython site.
