This is a problem with psycopg, then. John Fabiani created the bulk
of the dbPostgreSQL backend adapter, so I'd like him to chime in here.
John, did you ever test the validity of psycopg's cursor.lastrowid?
If this turns out not to be implemented correctly, we'll have to
override getLastRowID() in dbPostgreSQL.py to return the correct value.
